"CEDERBERG IIIIII

This original oil painting, created using professional oil paints and palette knives upon a stretched canvas support, is part of the series of works depicting the magnificent beauty of the Cape wildflowers.  For a short window of time in July / August within the hidden sanctuary of the majestic Cederberg Mountains, you can witness a breathtaking out pouring of heavenly colours - carpets of wild flowers as far as the eye can see.  Via this display, nature is reminding us once again that there is abundance all around us.  At times during our lives, we all encounter feelings of worry and anxiety - that we wont have enough.  Enough food, shelter, love, health.  This is a normal part of the human condition.  It is important that we grasp every opportunity to witness the abundance that nature shows us, as this is God / Great Spirit / Infinite intelligence way of communicating to us that there is always enough.  Every one of my pieces are an offering from me to the viewer to escape the concrete worlds of human creation and return to our original, peaceful, healthy mental state which is more easily accessed when in nature.
